Intent
At Yavneh Primary School, our Limudei Kodesh curriculum aims to foster a deep-rooted passion and commitment to Judaism, equipping pupils with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to lead a meaningful Jewish life. We strive to make Jewish learning engaging, relevant, and experiential, allowing pupils to connect with their heritage in a way that is personal and inspiring. Through the study of Torah role models, we cultivate exemplary character traits (middot), encouraging pupils to embody kindness, respect, and integrity. We also instil a strong connection to the Land and State of Israel and nurture each pupil’s unique spiritual relationship with Hashem. Additionally, we emphasise the importance of community, ensuring that pupils understand their role in contributing to both the Jewish and wider society.
