Intent
Yavneh’s PE curriculum seeks to build skills sequentially by teaching a range of games, dance, gymnastics and athletics as set out by the National Curriculum.
We intend to explore and understand movement by enriching our curriculum with a focus on balance, agility, coordination, flexibility and strength. Yavneh embraces the many transferable skills of PE which includes, teamwork, problem solving, the development of specific sports vocabulary and the positive impact of mental health benefits. The Yavneh PE curriculum is underpinned by inclusivity, where all children have the opportunity to participate and thrive.
